When we do mortgage reviews we also take the opportunity to review your life insurance. I’ve been surprised by the number of clients that (1) don’t know what insurance they are paying for and (2) have been talked into every “up-sell” imaginable. If you don’t know what cover you’ve got, then you need a review.

The next year won’t be easy, but us Kiwis are made of tough stuff. Maybe this global crisis is New Zealand’s opportunity to sneak back up the OECD ladder. For all those pessimists out there, it is time to roll up your sleeves and do something about it. We are a very small fish in a very big pond. Even if the pond shrinks, it is still a very big pond!
The current recession has created its fair share of sensationalism. We are struggling to understand the truth anymore with everything dished up to us in sound bites designed to grab our attention, not give us the truth!
