It's easy to download your bank statements

Supplying 3 months of bank statements is a general requirement when applying for a loan, so this will be part of the paperwork we ask you to supply. Not so that we can browse through all your food purchases, but the banks need to take a squiz to make sure everything's in order.

It's pretty simple, but in case you get stuck here are some step-by-step instructions for the main banks:

ANZ

  1. Head to ANZ's website and log into your internet banking.
  2. Click on the account you want to view statements for.
  3. Above your transactions you'll see a date range. Choose your dates and click on the Print on the right hand side.
  4. Print options will pop up. At the bottom left will be a dropdown. Hit save as PDF, choose the destination and click save.

ASB Bank

  1. Head to ASB's website and log into your FastNet internet banking.
  2. Click on the account you want to view statements for
  3. Above your transactions you'll see a date range. Choose your dates and then click view on screen.
  4. Hit the Print button (just above your transactions on the right).
  5. In the preview mode, hit the Print button on the top right.
  6. Print options will pop up. At the bottom left will be a dropdown. Hit save as PDF, choose the destination and click save.

BNZ

  1. Head to BNZ's website and log into your internet banking.
  2. Go to the Menu (top left of screen)
  3. Choose Documents (4th down on menu)
  4. Select Statements and use drop down arrow on right hand side
  5. Click on the account you want the statements for
  6. Click on the statement date you would like to download and PDF statement will open in another tab
  7. Right click and choose Save as and save PDF to your computer

KiwiBank

  1. Head to KiwiBank's website and log into your internet banking.
  2. Go into your accounts and choose the one you want to view statements for.
  3. Above your transactions you'll see a date range. Choose your dates and then click hit search/export options
  4. At the bottom in export dropdown choose Print Friendly (basic PDF)
  5. In view mode a menu should be available at the top. Click the download button and it will save to your downloads (depending on your computer's settings).

Westpac

  1. Head to Westpac's website and log into your internet banking.
  2. Choose the account you want to view statements for.
  3. Click Download Statements
  4. In the pop-up box choose your date range and click view statements
  5. Click on the bank statement button which will bring up the PDF.
  6. In this mode a menu should be available at the top. Click the download button and it will save to your downloads (depending on your computer's settings).
