Kate is an Account Manager who brings experience from roles at Co-operative Bank, TSB, and NZHL before joining Squirrel.

Originally from South Africa, Kate’s go-to comfort food will always be a good braai and some biltong. Outside of work, she loves fishing, reading, being outdoors, and spending time with her kids. She’s also tackled a Hyrox event, proving she’s no stranger to a challenge.

Fun fact: Kate is horse mad! She could ride a horse before she could walk!

How Kate is paid

Kate is a salaried adviser and account manager, and is paid the same no matter which lender you choose, so there's no pressure or bias toward any particular option. At a company level, Squirrel is paid either upfront or through a combination of upfront and trail commissions by its lenders and insurance providers.
