Shailly is an Account Manager with over a decade’s worth of experience in the finance industry. She spent over a decade at Westpac in a range of roles, most recently as an Assurance Manager reviewing home loan applications and supporting responsible lending practices.

With strong experience in residential lending, including construction loans, she’s all about making the process simple, smooth and well-managed for her customers.

Outside of work, Shailly enjoys gardening and finding a great shopping deal. She’s also a fan of homemade pizza nights and spending time with her nephew and brother’s dog.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics and Computer Science, Graduate Diploma in Business Studies, and NZ Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5). 

How Shailly is paid

Shailly is a salaried adviser and account manager, and is paid the same no matter which lender you choose, so there's no pressure or bias toward any particular option. At a company level, Squirrel is paid either upfront or through a combination of upfront and trail commissions by its lenders and insurance providers.
