Shailly brings more than a decade of finance experience to Squirrel, including over 10 years at Westpac. Most recently, she worked as an Assurance Manager, reviewing home loan applications and making sure lending decisions were up to scratch.

With plenty of experience in residential and construction lending, Shailly knows what goes on behind the scenes. As an Account Manager, she's all about keeping things running smoothly and making the mortgage process as easy as possible for clients.

Outside of work, Shailly loves a bit of gardening, hunting down a good shopping bargain and enjoying her husband's homemade pizza. She's also a big fan of spending time with her nephew and his dog. 

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics and Computer Science, Graduate Diploma in Business Studies, and NZ Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5). 

How Shailly is paid

Shailly is a salaried adviser and account manager, and is paid the same no matter which lender you choose, so there's no pressure or bias toward any particular option. At a company level, Squirrel is paid either upfront or through a combination of upfront and trail commissions by its lenders and insurance providers.
