Adam’s spent the last 13 years working in mortgages, including 11 years at BNZ where six of those were in private banking — helping clients with more complex financial needs and high-value lending. These days, he focuses on residential lending, making the home loan process as clear and straightforward as possible.

Based in Dunedin, Adam gives us boots on the ground and means we can better support clients across Otago.

Outside of work, he’s often exploring the wild parts of the deep south — usually somewhere in Fiordland — or experimenting in his laundry-turned-darkroom with old-school film photography. He also has a third-place finish at the 2014 NZ Powerlifting Nationals to his name and a soft spot for anything baked, the sweeter the better.

How Adam is paid

Adam is a commissioned adviser and is paid the same no matter which lender you choose, so there's no pressure or bias toward any particular option. At a company level, Squirrel is paid either upfront or through a combination of upfront and trail commissions by its lenders and insurance providers.
