With more than a decade of experience in mortgages and property finance, he helps clients with everything from everyday home loans to construction finance, development funding and non-bank lending.

Originally part of NZ Mortgages before joining the Squirrel family, Daniel works with clients across New Zealand, including builders, developers, property investors and business owners. He's particularly handy when a project doesn't quite fit the banks' usual lending criteria. Based in Christchurch, Daniel's all about practical advice, finding solutions and making the lending process as straightforward as possible. Whether you're buying your first home or funding your next big development, he'll help you figure out your options.

When he's not talking finance, Daniel's busy with his two kids or making the most of the outdoors. Fishing, camping, travelling and exploring are all high on his list.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Commerce Major Accounting, NZ Certification in Construction Trade Skills and NZ Certification in Financial Services.

How Daniel is paid

Daniel is a commissioned adviser and is paid the same no matter which lender you choose, so there's no pressure or bias toward any particular option. At a company level, Squirrel is paid either upfront or through a combination of upfront and trail commissions by its lenders and insurance providers.
