Jessica's spent nearly 20 years working in finance, including roles at Westpac and BNZ, with a few years in London thrown into the mix.

Over that time, she's learnt that there's no such thing as a one-size-fits-all mortgage. Everyone's circumstances are different, and finding the right lending solution means looking at the bigger picture.

As a mum of two with a Scottish partner, Jessica knows firsthand how life can throw a few curveballs into your financial plans. From maternity leave and visa applications to juggling family life and buying a home, she's all about helping clients find lending options that work for their situation.

Jessica loves getting to know her clients, and many come back to her years later or send their friends and family her way. That's something she's pretty proud of.

Outside of work, you'll find Jessica getting creative with sewing, crafts and interior design. Her love of homes doesn't stop at mortgages, and she's always up for a chat about turning a house into a home.

BCom, Dip. Interior Design, NZ Certification in Financial Services. 

How Jessica is paid

Jessica is a salaried adviser and is paid the same no matter which lender you choose, so there's no pressure or bias toward any particular option. At a company level, Squirrel is paid either upfront or through a combination of upfront and trail commissions by its lenders and insurance providers.
