Ollie spent a decade moving up the ranks at one of the big banks before hopping over to Squirrel to help businesses and property developers with their property finance. An outdoorsy guy at heart, when Ollie’s not in the office he can be found on the golf course, in the ocean, or working on a bit of DIY at home.
Ollie specialises in commercial and construction loans.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Operations Management), NZ Certificate in Financial Services. Ollie Mellsop is a regulated Financial Adviser and provides specialist mortgage advice. Very responsive and quick to act. Great advice and made it easy even with some tricky property issues that made lending much more challenging to obtain. I was only able to buy this property because we were the only ones (out of many serious purchasers) that overcame the issues and obtained suitable lending and insurance. Other deals had fallen through because the banks would not lend more than 50% of the property value (ignoring the dwellings).
