Stewart McRobie

Director; Chair – Audit and Risk Committee

Stewart brings extensive financial leadership, governance and risk management experience to the Squirrel Board, developed through senior executive roles across large and complex organisations in both the private and public sectors.

He has held Chief Financial Officer and Executive roles at Westpac, AMP, ASB, the New Zealand Racing Board and the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE). He is currently Deputy Chief Executive – Corporate and Finance at the Accident Compensation Corporation.

As Chair of Squirrel’s Audit and Risk Committee, Stewart brings strong commercial judgement, financial discipline and a rigorous approach to risk and governance. As an independent director, he provides valuable perspective and constructive challenge in support of Squirrel’s strategy and long-term success.
