Jo is one of Squirrel’s founding team members, with more than 20 years’ experience in financial services and specialist lending. An actuary by training and a qualified investment adviser, she brings rare technical depth to the development finance space.

Alongside her role at Squirrel, Jo has had first-hand property development experience as both a developer and fund manager, giving investors valuable expertise in project delivery, capital structuring, and risk management. She also plays an important role in Squirrel’s engagement with the Chinese market, helping to build trusted connections with high-net-worth networks.

How Jo is paid

Jo is a salaried adviser and is paid the same no matter which lender you choose, so there's no pressure or bias toward any particular option. At a company level, Squirrel is paid either upfront or through a combination of upfront and trail commissions by its lenders and insurance providers.
